Settings
They affect the general behavior of ExcelPort. The ExcelPort settings are located in Extensions > Modules > ExcelPort in the tab Settings.
Select how you need ExcelPort to handle your product descriptions
This setting affects only the product exporter. It provides the following options:
- Encoded HTML characters: <p>
- Standard HTML characters: <p>
- Without HTML characters
This setting is used to specify the HTML formatting of the product descriptions you get after you export. We suggest you use the second option Standard HTML characters: <p> because it will preserve the HTML of your product descriptions, making them easier to modify.
Number of entries per exported part
Minimum value: 10
Maximum value: 800
Default value: 500
Used in the following export types: Products, Categories, Vouchers, Coupons, Customers, Customer Groups, Manufacturers, Options, Orders
Not used in the following export types: Attributes and Attribute Groups
ExcelPort is not able to export all information in a single spreadsheet because of possible server memory issues. The current solution is to separate the information into separate chunks, the size of which is controlled with this setting.
Note: In case you get an "Error 500" during export, try reducing the value of this setting. An alternative solution to this error is to increase the available server memory.
