Installation

Extensions Installer

WarningIf your OpenCart is not a fresh installation, files and database backup is highly recommended.

These installation instructions assume that you have either a fresh or a customized installation of whichever version of OpenCart 3.

Step 1

Unzip the downloaded ZIP file into a new folder.

Step 2

Login to your OpenCart admin panel and go to Extensions > Extension Installer. Upload the file twitterlogin.ocmod.zip, which is in the folder you created in Step 1.

Step 3

Go to Extensions > Modules > TwitterLogin and click the Install button.

Step 4

Go to Extensions > Modules > TwitterLogin and click the Edit button.

Step 5

The TwitterLogin control panel is displayed. Now, this is the place where you edit/customize your TwitterLogin module. In order to do that, please follow the steps:

  1. Add a Unique Name of your module
  2. Enable the module
  3. Go through all of the Settings of the module and modify them in the desired way.
  4. After clicking SAVE button your new module will be created. It will appear below the basic module TwitterLogin with the name TwitterLogin > YourUniqueModuleName.
  5. Go to Settings > Desing > Layouts, select the page where your TwitterLogin > YourUniqueModuleName module would like to be displayed and click Edit button.
  6. Scroll Down to the table for module positioning, click on the + Button and find the TwitterLogin > YourUniqueModuleName module in the module column with the dropdown menu, choose a position and a sort order and click Save button.
  7. Now the TwitterLogin > YourUniqueModuleName module is added to the desired position in the desired layout!

- In order to edit **TwitterLogin > YourUniqueModuleName** go to the **TwitterLogin > YourUniqueModuleName** module and press **Edit** button, this will change the settings for **TwitterLogin > YourUniqueModuleName** only.
- If you would like to **add a new** TwitterLogin module, go to the basic TwitterLogin module press **Edit** button and repeat the steps from 1.

Step 6

If you are using the TwitterLogin module on a live server, make sure to insert your license key in the Extensions > Modules > TwitterLogin > Support.

NoteUsing the module on a staging/development server does not require license activation. The license is needed to grant you access to Premium iSenseLabs Support and the Latest Downloads of TwitterLogin.

Manual Installation

Step 1

Unzip the downloaded ZIP file into a new folder

Step 2

Navigate to this new folder. Find file twitterlogin.ocmod.zip then extract the package file.

Step 3

Navigate to the extracted folder. You will notice an upload/ folder.

Notes: Some OpenCart stores have their admin folder renamed. If necessary, rename the admin/ folder to match your OpenCart setup.

Step 4

Upload the contents of this folder to your OpenCart store, making sure to preserve the directory structure.

Step 5

Go to Extensions > Modules and find TwitterLogin and click the Install button.

Step 6

Go to Extensions > Modules > TwitterLogin and click the Edit button.

Step 7

The TwitterLogin control panel is displayed. Now, this is the place where you edit/customize your TwitterLogin module. In order to do that, please follow the steps:

Upgrade Instructions

Follow the installation instructions above.

When you are done, go to the module and click Save.
