Installation

Extensions Installer

WarningIf your OpenCart is not a fresh installation, files and database backup is highly recommended.

These installation instructions assume that you have either a fresh or a customized installation of whichever version of OpenCart 3.

Step 1

Unzip the downloaded ZIP file into a new folder.

Step 2

Login to your OpenCart admin panel and go to Extensions > Extension Installer. Upload the file notifywhenavailable.ocmod.zip, which is in the folder you created in Step 1.

Step 3

Go to Extensions > Modules > NotifyWhenAvailable and click the Install button.

Step 4

Go to Extensions > Modifications and click the blue Refresh button on the top right.

Step 5

NotifyWhenAvailable is now installed. You can access it from Extensions > Modules > NotifyWhenAvailable.

Step 6

If you are using the NotifyWhenAvailable module on a live server, make sure to insert your license key in the Extensions > Modules > NotifyWhenAvailable > Support.

NoteUsing the module on a staging/development server does not require license activation. The license is needed to grant you access to Premium iSenseLabs Support and the Latest Downloads of NotifyWhenAvailable.

Manual Installation

Step 1

Unzip the downloaded ZIP file into a new folder

Step 2

Navigate to this new folder. Find file notifywhenavailable.ocmod.zip then extract the package file.

Step 3

Navigate to the extracted folder. You will notice an upload/ folder.

Notes: Some OpenCart stores have their admin folder renamed. If necessary, rename the admin/ folder to match your OpenCart setup.

Step 4

Upload the contents of this folder to your OpenCart store, making sure to preserve the directory structure.

Step 5

The extracted notifywhenavailable.ocmod.zip also contains an install.xml file. Rename the file to notifywhenavailable.ocmod.xml and upload to your OpenCart store system/ folder.

Step 6

Go to Extensions > Modules and find NotifyWhenAvailable and click the Install button.

Step 7

Go to Extensions > Modifications and click the "Refresh" button on the top right.

Step 8

NotifyWhenAvailable is now installed. You can access it from Extensions > Modules > NotifyWhenAvailable.

Upgrade Instructions

Follow the installation instructions above.

When you are done, go to the module and click Save.
