Installation Instructions for OpenCart 2.x

WarningIf your OpenCart is not a fresh installation, files and database backup is highly recommended.

These installation instructions assume that you have either a fresh or a customized installation of whichever version of OpenCart 2.

Step 1

Unzip the downloaded ZIP file into a new folder.

Step 2

Login to your OpenCart admin panel and go to Extensions > Extension Installer. Upload the file adminmonitor.ocmod.zip, which is in the folder you created in Step 1.

NoteIf you receive an error "Could not connect as...", this means that your OpenCart FTP settings are not properly configured, or FTP is not enabled on your server. To resolve this, follow these steps:

Go to System > Settings > Edit > FTP and update your FTP settings. After you are done, try uploading adminmonitor.ocmod.zip again. If it does not work and you receive the same error "Could not connect as...", follow the next step.

https://isenselabs.com/products/view/quickfix-extensions-installer-issue-when-ftp-support-disabled and download and install the Quickfix for the OpenCart Extension Installer. After you are done, try uploading adminmonitor.ocmod.zip again.

Step 3

Go to Extensions > Modules > AdminMonitor and click the Install button.

Step 4

Go to Extensions > Modifications and click the blue Refresh button on the top right.

Step 5

AdminMonitor is now installed. You can access it from Extensions > Modules > AdminMonitor.

Step 6

If you are using the AdminMonitor module on a live server, make sure to insert your license key in the Extensions > Modules > AdminMonitor > Support.

Note Using the module on a staging/development server does not require license activation. The license is needed to grant you access to Premium iSenseLabs Support and the Latest Downloads of AdminMonitor.

Upgrade Instructions

Follow the installation instructions above.

When you are done, go to the module and click Save.
